The Story & Science Behind Naturin2

We believe in time-tested tradition and science-backed ingredients. Explore the evidence behind our formula.

What the Research Says About Licorice Root

Licorice root is the most human-studied herb in our formula. A 2012 randomized, placebo-controlled trial found a standardized licorice extract meaningfully eased functional dyspepsia symptoms compared to placebo, and later research has studied licorice for reflux-related comfort too.

These trials studied standardized licorice extracts at specific doses, which may differ from the form and amount used in Naturin2.

What About Our Other Herbs?

Our supporting botanicals—including Astragalus, Reishi, and Fo-Ti—carry a deep heritage of their own. While modern science studies these herbs primarily at the cellular level, we rely on centuries of Traditional Chinese Medicine to guide how they work in harmony. Instead of stretching laboratory data to fit, we celebrate these ingredients for what they do best: providing time-tested, empirical support for daily vitality.

A 30-Year Research Partnership

Since 1990, Greenland, Inc. has worked with senior scientists Dr. Rong-Nian Shen and Dr. Li Lu at Indiana University School of Medicine, and Dr. E. Y. Chi of the University of Washington, as medical consultants on the Naturin2 formula — because Winnie's story deserved more than tradition alone.

Findings from laboratory and preclinical research have not been confirmed in large-scale human clinical trials of this specific finished product.

Why We Still Believe in the Old Ways, Too

Traditional Chinese Medicine sees the body as one connected whole, not a set of symptoms to isolate. That's the philosophy that guided Winnie's own recovery, and it's still the philosophy behind every bottle of Naturin2 — research and tradition, working together.
